Layer 1 -- Receipt Integrity

Chain Verification (Local)

Recomputes every receipt hash from its fields, verifies chain links between consecutive receipts, and checks genesis anchor. All computation runs locally in your browser and SDK — no receipt data leaves your machine.

Layer 2 -- Content Verification

Verify Content

Load the original text from your local machine (never sent anywhere), re-hash it in your browser, and verify it matches the hash in the receipt. This proves your locally stored content is exactly what the Authority certified — without the Authority ever seeing your text.

Nanosecond Anchor

Expected Hash

Formula: SHA-256( text + nanosecond_anchor ) — computed entirely in your browser via Web Crypto API. The hash is one-way: it cannot be reversed into your text. This tool loads the text from your local disk, re-hashes it, and compares the result to the Authority-certified hash. If they match, your content is intact and unmodified.

Public Authenticity Check

To verify your receipt against the public Authority Service interface, you can upload the full receipt online. Important: If even a single byte of the JSON is remotely modified, the signature and verification will instantly fail.
